Parametric DiaScript designs

Every design is a short DiaScript file. Change the ring size, the stone or the wall thickness and the piece rebuilds. You can work in the viewport or edit the text, and an assistant can edit the same file. The feature list is the long version; the homepage is the overview.

Girdle-accurate settings

Prong, bezel, channel, head, halo, micro-pavé and bail settings are built on each cut's measured girdle, not a circle. A halo follows the three sides of a trillion, and a marquise gets prongs on its tips. That is the same idea behind ring design and pavé and stone setting.

Paint pavé on sculpts and scans

Brush a region, or select it with the magic wand, on a band, a dome, a fold, a hand sculpt or a scan. It fills with melee in sizes you can buy, up to the edge of the region, including meshes that arrived with holes.

Open .3dm and .jcd

Rhino .3dm and JewelCAD .jcd open as editable models. Revolves, sweeps and repeated prongs come back as features you can change. Switching from JewelCAD or Rhino walks through what comes across.

Export STL, 3MF, GLB and OBJ

STL and 3MF go to your caster and to wax and resin printers. GLB is for the web and AR, and OBJ for a sculpt you want to keep working on. Weight, the stone list and a bench tech sheet come from that same geometry. See 3D printing and casting.

MCP assistants
