Terms of Use
Last updated: September 26, 2026
These terms govern your use of Diatech Make: the browser editor, its compile servers, the MCP
endpoint for AI assistants and the @diatechai/cad command-line tool (together, the
"Service"), operated by Diatech AI ("Diatech", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to
them. They sit alongside the Diatech Studio Terms of Use, which govern your
account and subscription; where the two differ about Diatech Make, these terms apply.
1. The Service
Diatech Make is parametric CAD for fine jewelry. You describe a design in DiaScript, directly or through the editor's tools; the Service builds its geometry, shows it, reports on it (metal weight, stones, dimensions, estimated price) and exports it in formats such as STL, GLB, OBJ and 3MF.
2. Accounts and access
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into these terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you may bind it to them.
- Diatech Make uses your Diatech account to sign in and is currently free. If paid plans are introduced, fees, billing and refunds will be governed by the Diatech billing terms.
- One seat, one browser. A seat is for one person, used in one browser at a time. Signing in elsewhere signs the other browser out. Do not share accounts or work around this limit.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials, API keys and tokens secret. Tell us promptly if you suspect they have been misused.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- access the Service by automated means other than the MCP endpoint and command-line tool we provide, or in volumes that go beyond an individual's normal design work;
- overload, probe or disrupt the Service, or bypass its limits on seats, concurrent compiles, upload size or access;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, extract or copy the Service's software, geometry kernel, standard library, gem models or encoded viewer files, except where the law expressly allows it;
- upload or import files you do not have the right to use, or use the Service to infringe anyone else's intellectual property;
- use the Service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless doing so would be unlawful or put the Service at risk.
4. Your designs
You own the designs you create, the files you upload and everything you export. You give us only the limited permission needed to run the Service for you: to receive, process, cache and return them while building, rendering, reporting on and exporting your designs, and to store a design you publish and show it to the people and links you choose. We do not use your designs to train AI models and do not share them. How we handle them is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Saving is in your hands: designs are stored in your own files or in your browser. A design you publish is also kept on our servers, with every version, until you delete it, and its Showcase can be viewed and embedded by anyone with its link unless you restrict it. Keep your own copies of work that matters. We cannot restore a design you never published, or one you deleted.
5. Our software
Diatech and its licensors own the Service: the editor, the geometry kernel, the compiler, the standard library of settings, profiles and findings, the gem models, the documentation and the Diatech marks. You may use them to create and export designs for as long as you have access. You may freely use the example and template designs we provide as starting points for your own work. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.
6. Manufacturing and estimates
Diatech Make is a design tool. Metal weights, stone counts, carat totals, prices, wall-thickness readings, fit and interference checks, ring sizes and every other measurement or report are estimates. Prices come from your organization's price book and public metal spot prices and may be out of date. You are responsible for checking every design and file before it is cast, printed, milled, set, quoted or sold, including its dimensions, structural soundness, stone security and suitability for the process you use. We are not responsible for losses from manufacturing a design or relying on an estimate.
7. AI assistants
You can connect an AI assistant to Diatech Make. Designs it writes are your designs under these terms, and you are responsible for reviewing them just as you would your own. The assistant is a separate service provided under its own terms.
8. Changes and availability
We improve Diatech Make continuously, so features, limits, the DiaScript language and export formats may change. We aim to keep existing designs building as before and to migrate them when a change requires it, but we do not guarantee that a design will produce identical geometry in every future version, or that the Service will be uninterrupted.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of any measurement or estimate, and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent the law permits.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law permits, Diatech will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, materials or goodwill, arising from the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Diatech in the twelve months before the claim and one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as allowed.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Diatech against claims arising from your breach of these terms, the files you upload, or the manufacture, sale or use of pieces made from your designs.
12. Ending access
You may stop using the Service at any time. Access ends when your Diatech Make plan does, or if we suspend it under section 3. Files you have saved and exported remain yours and keep working without the Service. Sections 4 to 6 and 9 to 13 survive the end of access.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any formal proceedings, contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally within 30 days. Disputes that remain are resolved as set out in the Diatech Studio terms, and otherwise by the courts of Surat, Gujarat, India.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and tell you in advance of material changes. Continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept them.
